Upper New Road

A residential road connecting the Botley Road area to the northern parts of Hedge End. Upper New Road has a mix of housing types, from older properties near its southern end to later estate development further north. The road provides access to the Grange Park and Berrywood areas and carries local traffic between the residential estates and the town centre. Some small commercial premises are located along the road, but its character is predominantly residential. The road is well used by pedestrians and cyclists as well as motor traffic, particularly during school run times.
