Street guide, Hedge End

The main commercial spine of Hedge End, running east-west through the centre of the town towards the village of Botley. Botley Road is where most of the town's shops, cafes, takeaways, restaurants, estate agents and service businesses are concentrated. The road carries a steady flow of traffic throughout the day and functions as Hedge End's de facto high street. The Bald Forester pub and the Berry Theatre are both on or near this road. The mix of commercial properties and residential frontages gives the road a busy, functional character. Most residents pass through Botley Road regularly for shopping, services or simply getting from one side of town to the other.
